Power supply safe, RAE notes, reacting to import concerns

RAE, the Regulatory Authority for Energy, has released a statement in which it ascertained electricity supply in Greece remains secure, noting there is no cause for alarm. The authority was responding to reports claiming that electricity imports from the interconnected north will stop next week.

RAE noted that no problems whatsoever have been identified in the interconnected system. The authority added it is keeping a close watch on the energy market’s developments to ensure uninterrupted supply to all consumers in Greece.
