PASOK and Democratic Left (DIMAR) announced that they will cooperate in the general elections under the name Democratic Coalition at a joint press conference of Fofi Gennimata (PASOK) and Thanassis Theoharopoulos (DIMAR).

As they said that parties will keep their organisational and political independency and their agreement is based on ten plus one positions that will be released in the following days. Both leaders made clear that they will seek the participation of all the friendly-European forces after the elections in order Greece to finally exit from the crisis.
