JinkoSolar supplies Huaneng with 100 MW of its ‘mono perc’ solar panels

JinkoSolar, one of the world’s largest solar module manufacturers, has supplied 100 MW of its Mono Perc solar panels (JKM295M-60 & JKM290M-60) to the Huaneng group for installation at the Xintai coal mining subsidence in Shandong province, China, the company has announced in a statement.

The project, included in the China Top Runner Program 2016, has adopted an innovative solar and agriculture application design, arranging solar panels to be mounted on greenhouse rooftops.

These mono perc cells are built on a solid foundation, making them efficiently resistant to micro cracking, corrosion and stresses from temperature variation. With an efficiency of 17.8 percent, the JKM295-60 mono perc panels deliver more power in the same amount of space and maximize system output with fewer panels installed. JinkoSolar has also optimized the cell processing sequence to address the potential problem of LeTID and LID.

“The proven efficiency and reliability of the mono perc modules from JinkoSolar will enable us to build a power plant that will benefit the community of Xintai,” noted Yongfeng Pei, the project manager of China Huaneng Group.

“We are pleased that Huaneng chose JinkoSolar’s mono perc solution for this 100-MW top runner program project in Xintai,” said Gener Miao, Sales & Marketing VP of JinkoSolar. “China’s Top Runner Program market continues to respond well to our high efficiency solar products, so as to promote photovoltaic project development with high quality, up to high standard and from a high starting point.”

JinkoSolar has built a vertically integrated solar product value chain, with an integrated annual capacity of 9 GW for silicon ingots and wafers, 5 GW for solar cells, and 9 GW for solar modules.

JinkoSolar distributes its solar products and sells its solutions and services to a diversified international utility, commercial and residential customer base in China, the US, Japan, Germany, the UK, Chile, South Africa, India, Mexico, Brazil, the United Arab Emirates, Italy, Spain, France, Belgium, and other countries and regions.

JinkoSolar has over 12,000 employees across its 6 productions facilities globally, 15 subsidiaries abroad, two of these in Japan, the others in Singapore, India, Turkey, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, the US, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Chile, Australia and United Arab Emirates, and global sales teams in UK, Bulgaria, Greece, Romania, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Morocco, Ghana, Kenya, South Africa, Costa Rica, Colombia, Panama and Argentina.
