The German Parliament approved, by a large majority, in principal the provision of a precautionary credit line (ECCL) to Greece along with the two-month technical extension of the adjustment program. 

According to the Finance Ministry, the aforementioned approvals could be seen as recognition of the progress of the Greek economy.
