LAGIE, the Electricity Market Operator, issued a payment order on Wednesday for payment of the remainder of renewable energy source (RES) production invoices covering May, 2014.

Payment procedures for the month of June, as well as additional invoices issued for production in April and May, were also initiated for all RES producers who had submitted official declarations stating that they had not received any supportive grants until July 15, 2014.

As a result of the payment order, producers operating 6,130 RES parks will receive payments. These include payment for 46 percent of electricity production generated by RES facilities in June.
