Three corporate teams have submitted bids to an equipment supply and installation tender concerning a first round of 200,000 digital electricity power meters around Greece.
OTE-Intrakat-Intrasoft International, Intracom Telecom, and Microdata-SME are the three bidding corporate teams, according to reports.
Offered as a pilot program, the project’s initial round of installation work is valued at 86.5 million euros.
Following a series of eight deadline extensions, the tender, staged by HEDNO, the Hellenic Electricity Distribution Network Operator, expired yesterday. It was announced 15 months ago but was delayed as a result of a series of interventions made by prospective bidders concerning the tender’s technical and financial details.
