President of Republic Prokopis Pavlopoulos sent a double message to Europe and Germany in his statements to the Sunday newspaper Realnews.

“It is not possible for Europe to ignore the huge problem of the humanitarian crisis that plagues Greece…Europe, and particularly the European Commission, can΄t not respond to the requests for change of the memorandums which are completely just and documented” said Pavlopoulos. 

Referring to the German war reparations he clarified “I will remain adamant on my opinion that Greece΄s demands on the German war reparations and the occupation loan are active and can be claimed legally”.
