New Ptolemaida plant to replace three stations

RAE, the Regulatory Authority for Energy, has announced it will withdraw three electricity production plants as a result of the imminent launch of a new plant, Ptolemaida V, in northern Greece.

The three plants to be withdrawn, totaling 126 MW, are located in Ptolemaida, Lavrio, southeast of Athens, and in Agios Georgios, on the outskirts of Athenian port district Piraeus.
