IMF says talks on Greek debt continue

Christine Lagarde will attend the June 21 eurogroup meeting in Luxemburg to present the International Monetary Fund’s report on the eurozone, the Washington based group said on Thursday.
Measures to be taken on Greek debt will also discussed at the meeting of eurozone finance ministers.
Talks between the IMF and eurozone countries on Greek debt relief are continuing in a bid to overcome differences between the two sides but time is running out, said IMF spokesman Gerry Rice.
For this reason, Rice added, there a Washington Group meeting held in Paris on Thursday with the participation of Poul Thomsen, the head of the IMF’s European division, and Peter Dolman, International Monetary Fund mission chief for Greece.
