Greece among the main issues to be discussed in G7 summit

German Finance Minister Wolfgang Schaeuble and Bundesbank President Jens Weidmann host their G7 counterparts – Britain, France, Germany, USA, Japan, Italy, Canada – in Dresden in May 27-29.

Among the main issues to be discussed will be Greece although no decisions are expected to be taken. The main topic, however, is the global economic situation after seven years of crisis and the efforts for sustainable growth as well as the improvement of cooperation in tax issues.

IMF chief Christine Lagarde, World Bank president Jim Yong Kim, ECB head Mario Draghi, OECD secretary general Angel Gurria, Eurogroup president Jeroen Dijsselbloem, EU Commissioner Pierre Moscovici are among the officials to attend the meeting.
