ELPE refineries functioning as normal, chief announces

ELPE, Hellenic Petroleum, has announced its refineries are continuing to operate as normal, despite the capital controls imposed in Greece as of today, while also ensuring that exisiting fuel reserves will last for a number of months.

ELPE’s refinineries have already secured future crude supplies, according to chief executive Grigoris Stergioulis.

The company head added the petrol company’s associated EKO and BP retail outlets are ensured of their supply.
