Austrian Chancellor Werner Faymann on Wednesday underlined the importance of his visit to the social medical office of Athens in an exclusive statement to ANA-MPA adding that the politicians should have close relations with such intitiatives.
“For me it is impressive to see these people working voluntarily here and it is impressive to see that the people do not accept the poverty and they struggle against it…it is important to have very close relations with other politicians but it is also important to support this kind of intitiatives,” he underlined and noted “These initiatives are really special and impressive. I fully respect the work of these people”.
Afterwards, the Austrian Chancellor who is paying an official visit to Athens, visited Evangelismos hospital and earlier the children villages SOS. Later, Faymann will meet with Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras and with President of Republic Prokopis Pavlopoulos.
