Athens will present a proposed agreement to Skopje within February, FM Kotzias reveals

The Greek side will present a draft agreement to Skopje that deals with all open issues relating to FYROM’s name and irredentism within February, Foreign Minister Nikos Kotzias said in an interview broadcast by ERT public television late on Monday night.
Replying to a panel of three journalists on the programme “The Next Day” presented by Serafeim Kotrotsos, Kotzias explained that the draft plan will include a special chapter on dealing with irredentism, with references to the international and regional position of the country and with a positive agenda for developing bilateral relations.
The minister rejected a “piecemeal” approach to the problem as unrealistic and stressed that the government is aiming for a settlement of all issues in a single comprehensive agreement.
