Tsipras: My Greece will not harm Europe

Greece stands at a landmark turning point while SYRIZA is no longer simply the country’s hope but currently incarnates the prospect of change for Europe as a whole, noted opposition leader Alexis Tsipras in an opinion piece published in Italian daily Corriere della Sera on Wednesday.

In his commentary, Tsipras also writes that Europe will not exit the crisis without a “profound revision of its political choices.”

“If Greece ended up on a dead-end road, today’s Europe is destined to face a similar end,” writes the leftist leader, adding that his party is no longer considered a threat, like in 2012, but “a challenge for change”.
