ND elections for new leader postponed

Main opposition New Democracy elections to elect a new party leader on Sunday (November 22) were postponed due to serious technical problems. The party’s Central Electoral Committee in an extraordinary meeting decided unanimously the postponement of the voting procedure.

Current leader Vangelis Meimarakis, MP and former Health Minister Adonis Georgiadis, MP and former Minister of Administrative Reform and e-Governance Kyriakos Mitsotakis and Central Macedonia Prefect Apostolos Tzitzikostas are candidates for ND leaders.
