LAGIE, the Electricity Market Operator, will be honored with a “Diamonds of the Greek Economy” prize at an upcoming awards ceremony organized annually by Active Business Publishing to honor companies excelling in the Greek market, the event’s host has announced.

The operator’s award will be collected by LAGIE chairman and managing director Dr Anastassis Garis at the ceremony, to he held on July 1 at the Hotel Grande Betagne in the capital.

Commenting on the distinction, Garis noted he believed LAGIE’s attention to constructive cooperation with clients, along with the high performance levels of employees, have contributed significantly to the operator’s continuously enhanced productivity.

Prior to his current tenure at LAGIE, Garis had served as a highly-ranked official at major enterprises abroad.
