Farming income generated by renewable energy source (RES) activities will be taxed based on agricultural tax brackets, for production levels up to 100 KW, according to Rural Development and Food Minister Giorgos Karasmanis.

During a succession of meetings with Greek Finance Minister Gikas Hardouvelis over the past few months, Karasmanis has applied pressure for a change to the taxation of farmer-linked RES earnings.
